Cialis (tadalafil) is a prescription medicine often used for most severe cases of erectile dysfunction. This drug provides for up to 36 hours of efficiency and is supposed to be taken 45 minutes before having sex. Before you start the treatment please tell your health care provider if you are taking ketoconazole, doxazosin, antidepressants, conivaptan, HIV/AIDS medicines, seizure medications, erythromycin, telithromycin, rifampin, diclofenac, imatinib, dalfopristin, voriconazole, clarithromycin, clotrimazole, isoniazid, itraconazole, or any heart or blood pressure medications, as drug interactions are possible. Your doctor also needs to know about any medical conditions you have. Some medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, cavernosal fibrosis, irregular heartbeat, angulation, stomach or intestine ulcers, liver, kidney, or heart disease, diabetes, Peyronie's disease, any bleeding disorder, a heart attack, low blood pressure, stroke, blood cell problems, chest pain, or high cholesterol can affect the quality of your treatment and cause serious side effects. In general, however, serious side effects are rare. Such mild side effects as cough, indigestion, heartburn, diarrhea, headache, muscle pain, pain in the stomach, and flushing are possible at the beginning of your treatment.
